Thank you for listening! See you next week!
Welcome back to the Manifested sis podcast. If you are new, welcome . If you are an OG listener, thank you for coming back and bearing with me during my hiatus. I'm gonna call it a hiatus , but I do owe you an explanation. Um, I was just not sure if I wanted to continue with the podcast. I felt like the episodes I shared.
God, I don't wanna say enough. Like there's never enough when it comes to personal development and self-improvement, spiritual awakening, like there's always more to talk about, but I felt like my little capsule of what I was doing felt complete and in my, the way my life, the way my life is set up, , I didn't know if I wanted to.
Continue giving weekly episodes that were topical. That just comes from what I'm noticing or something I channeled. I wanted to serve more directly and I didn't know how I was gonna do it, but I pulled my email audience, um, and if you wanna join my email community, you can, the link is in the show notes.
But I pulled them on what they wanted to hear and literally going forward. If it is not an interview episode, it's going to be either something channeled or direct q and a from a listener or a one of my Facebook group members or email community members, and I feel like that will be a great way to serve them directly and I'll listener directly as well.
no one has a question that that's only, that's unique to them, right? Every question can serve more than one person, so I think that's how we're gonna move forward until it feels wrong. Right now it feels very right, . So if you wanna ask a question to be answered on the podcast, Please feel free to submit it.

There is a Bitly link in the show notes for you and I look forward to, to answering. And again, these answers are coming from one woman's perspective. So I also thought that today I should probably reintroduce myself , um, especially since they take such a long hiatus. So hello everybody. My name is Danny Faust.
I am the host of the Manifest ISIS podcast and the woman behind the manifest ISIS Facebook group. I am a hypnotherapist. I'm also an intuitive and an energy healer, and I make my living as a hypnotherapist, energy healer, and mindset. I just love helping women, especially female entrepreneurs. That seems to be who I attract most, but women in general, um, manifest their best lives, their best businesses.
And as a coach, my work kind of blends very practical brain science and positive psychology with more esoteric and spiritual mind body practices. I am a certified meditation instructor, breathwork instructor, reiki practitioner. I'm also just an intuitive and I, I use that a lot in my business. Um, and. If you have listened to any of the past episodes, you know how I talk.
It is just blunt, and real talk. Um, but it always comes from a place of love and a place of understanding that we are all love and we are each other. And I'm not gonna get too much into that with this little intro into me. I just will say that that's the, the energy I'm coming from. And I hope that it resonates with you.
For those of you who care, I am Enneagram seven . I'm an E N F P. I'm an extroverted Virgo, and yeah, I'm a New Yorker, currently based in South Florida. Married with two kids, so that's me. All right, so today's. Is answering a question that I found really interesting, um, because, partly because my answer is so basic, and so plain, but I feel like because it's basic, it's good to hear, especially as a coming back episode.
It's a, it's a basic type of question for a basic type of answer, and we always need to return to. Fyi, when you're feeling crazy, when you're feeling overwhelmed, if you're feeling outta whack, when you're feeling touched out by your family, or things are just just overwhelming and you feel like you're on about to spazz out, get back to the basics.
Do something completely basic for you, and that's different for everyone. Going back to basics for me sometimes means shut up, sit down, and. For some, it might be pull out your journal, but whatever is the basics for you. It could just be the breath. That's always a great place to start with the basics, but whenever you're feeling overwhelmed and crazy, go back to basics.
Basic isn't a negative. I know we hear the term like she's a basic bitch, blah, blah, blah. Like basic is classic. Basic is a basic for a reason, cuz you can count on. Anyway, so the question that I received was, um, I'm not gonna read their whole story, but the, the crux of the, of the question was how to keep myself motivated even when I'm not seeing results from my manifestations.
So I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, I have five. I guess tips or things that I, that I have in response to that. And for everyone listening, I would love to hear your tips on how you keep yourself motivated. You can, at the Danny Faust on Instagram or, um, if you're on Facebook, I am Danielle Faust, intuitive energy healer.
Find me, or I think I might be under Coach Danny Faust. I would love to hear how you keep yourself motivated for whatever your goals are, whatever you're trying to. To, I, I love hearing other perspectives. So, um, my first knee jerk response when I read the question was like, I don't try to keep myself motivated, and I usually don't suggest to my clients that they keep themselves motivated either, and I'm only saying this because motivation feels really fleeting and really, Some tiny , you know, um, for example, I, I don't wanna work out
I don't wanna work out all the time. And if I wanna motivate myself to work out, I'll put on something about motivation for working out, or like, I'll put on one of those YouTube videos or I'll put on. Like a little clip of CrossFit exercise, workout people and seeing them all fit and like pushing weights around.
I'm like, okay, I can go do it to you. Like I've worked myself up to a place where I can do it, but it's fleeting, it's temporary and it's short term. And because of that, I don't think motivation for me is a goal and I don't suggest that it be a goal, um, for you unless you're using it very intentionally for a very short term thing like the, the working out.
I think what's more important than motivation is, is that internal inspiration that comes from, from who you are being. And I'm gonna get into that a bit. Um, but for those short term things, let's, let's not, um, Please don't think I'm like downing motivation, right? Because we need that to do a thing to get up out of bed, to go to the bathroom and brush your teeth, to like do whatever thing is that you're, that you're doing next.
There is this like tiny, unspoken mini motivation that's required. . So I'm not downing motivation, but to have that as something that you want long term for, um, to maintain so that you can hit goals and manifest desires. I, I don't think that's it, but some timey motivation is fantastic. So watch something inspiring.
Do what you need to do to set yourself up for success short term, and only you're gonna know what that. Right. So if you're someone who is working towards, say, a fitness goal and you just can't motivate yourself to work out, try the, some timey motivation, try putting your sneakers, your workout clothes right at the end of your bed so that all you have to do is get up and hop into them and go take your walk.
That's a little, some timey motivation. It it like you, there's no way around. Um, and again, like I said, for myself, I like listening to something that'll pump me up or watching a little something that'll pump me up and I'll be like, well, if she could do it, I can do it, rah, and I'll go and take my run or whatever.
Um, but my real answer is that my desire keeps me going. And I think this is the big one for most people. And I think where we should put the most of our thought work. Is that your desire needs to be strong enough that it keeps you going, and that you don't have to continuously look for new and fresh motivation, especially the some timey motivation.
Of course, there's gonna be moments where you're feeling a little down and you need something to pump you up, but when it comes to what you're working for and you're alive, those bad boys should be deep enough, solid enough, strong enough in your. That you don't need a some timey motivation. You just know like, Ooh, this is what I'm working for and it is burning a fire in me and I'm gonna keep working for it.
What's the next step? What's the next step? That's the way I want your desires to feel. And if they're not, I want you to go back to my five column exercise and regroup and see, is this what you really wanna be doing? Is this really a true desire for you? So, As a reminder for those of you who are new to the, to the program, my five column exercise is basically, um, you take a paper, put it landscape, and you make a few columns.
The first column is what you want, and in this column you have to make sure that what you're putting there is something that you and only you want. And want for yourself, not something that you think you should want because your parents wanted it for you, or it'll be good for the kids, or your husband will really be happy if you had it or whatever.
It has to be just literally for you and you alone. What are those desires? What are your deep, dark? I really truly want this in the pit of my soul type of wants. Those are the desires you write down on the first column of what I want. The next is, why do I want it? And this is just to check. To see if you did write down some stuff that were for other people and not for you.
So if there's some and please know why you want it can be just cause I do . Cause I've always wanted it and I still do. That's a valid answer. Okay. . It doesn't have to be deep, like it doesn't have to be healing the world at this point, but it has to. Be real and real for you and not because you've always said it and you know your parents would be happy if you were a doctor and you know your husband would be happy if you were a stay at home mom or, and your kids would be great if you learned how to cook better.
Like all those little things, they're not for you, they're for others. What do you want? It is safe for you to want what you want just because you want it. Remember that repeat. It is safe for you to want what you want just because you. Period with a T at the end. Okay, so the next column, so we have what I want, why I want it.
So for each thing that you wrote down on column one, for each of those, you're gonna write down something for the following columns. So column two for every single thing. Why do you want each of those? The next is how do I feel when I have. This is big, and this is also beautiful, and it's kind of part of the magic of this activity because it gets you into that energy feeling of you having it, and you have to really feel it to think it to go there.
Right? So, you know, what is it? It's, it's this whatever dream job. Why do you want it? Because I wanted it, the, I was a little girl and thinking about it makes me happy. I can't wait to do it. Okay. How does it feel with you have when you have it? Oh, I feel successful. I feel proud. I feel happy. I feel like I've made it.
I feel whatever. Whatever it is. You write that down for that column. Then the following column, it's who do I have to be to get it? As a reminder, and I will say this, a million, trillion, billion times, , we manifest by who we are, who we're being, how we're living, not by what we say we want, not by thinking about wanting something and then acting in a totally different way than the person who would have it.
Who we are manifest. We manifest from our self worth and, and who we believe we sell ourselves to be. We know who we believe ourselves to be by how we. So, who are you being and what, who do you have to be to get that thing? So, okay. The, the goal is I, I want to lose 20 pound and fit into my old jeans again.
Why do you want it? Um, because I don't like how I feel and how I look in the mirror. Okay. Um, how does it feel when you lose that weight? Oh, it feels great. I feel strong. I feel fit, I feel proud of myself. I feel whatever. Who do I have to be to lose that 20 pounds and fit in those jeans? Okay. I have to be someone dedicated to working out someone who is consistently eating healthy or drinking water and getting sleep and whatever.
Okay. So who do you have to. And then for those of you who just have to be helping the world out, , the last column is who wins? Who wins from you? Having that desire fulfilled, so going back to that 20 pounds and fitting into those genes, who wins from you losing that weight. It's not just you, even though the why was about.
The happy bonus is that other people win from you getting your desires so you lose weight. Oh, your kids win because you now have energy to run around with them outside when you didn't before your husband wins. Cuz now you're willing to go take a sexy vacation and we're a little bikini. Where before he was begging you to, and you were saying, , um, your community wins cuz now you have the energy to go and do the volunteer activities in your community or your church or whatever.
You see how you getting what you want has a beautiful impact on the world. But we don't start with the world when we're thinking about what we wanna do, what we wanna achieve, what we want to manifest. We start with ourselves and that desire has to be enough to keep you going. So you don't need to go and seek out some external motivat.
So your desire keeps you going. That keeps you motivated because it's deep and it's burning within, and you're going to, it's like it has to be a thing that's like, I want this so badly, I'm not gonna stop. I'm not gonna need to look for a, a list on Reddit on how to keep myself motivated. Right. And the.
The next thing that I, I say to answer the question about how do I keep myself motivated is that my habits keep me going. So going back to us manifesting by who we are, we have to set up our lives in a way that supports what we say we want. Kind of like that, um, example of putting the workout clothes right at the edge of the bed, so you just get up.
you have to set your life up in such a way that you have habituated your, your actions to just guarantee the success. It's like, I, I, I call this, you guys are gonna learn my lingo, but I call this of course, energy. You gotta get into, of course, energy so that when you manifest stuff, it isn't a surprise and a wow, a shocker.
It's just like, well, of course of course, a manifested that. Pound weight loss because I'm someone who wakes up and does my run and comes home and eats healthy. Like of course I manifested that, right? It has to be like a duh almost. You have to know that you and your efforts and who you are being and what your habits are, are set up in a way that guarantees your success.
And it's like, duh. So that manifesting is the normal. And predictive byproduct and not manifesting what you want is the surprise. Like, wait, hold up. How did I not win the lotto? Or whatever it is that you're going for. Um, so. , set up your habits like and also do a time audit. Do an audit of your habits like that is something that I wanna encourage you to do today, and also kind of do periodically, at least quarterly.
Look at your habits, audit your day. What do you do from the moment you open your eyes to the moment you close your eyes and all those things, just write it down for one day. It doesn't have to be a long thing. Just one day. Keep a running log of everything you. and look at what percent of that log is keeping you going towards what you say you want.
What those dreams are, those desires, your goals, and what things are pulling you away. What things are habit sucks? What things can you delegate? What things can you just cut out altogether? What things do you need to add? Think about what you're doing on the regular, because it's your day to day that helps you manifest.
Yes, the spiritual stuff is important. Yes, the practical action steps are important. It's the continuous action and the continuous spiritual work. It's not just a one and done. Even for my witchy friends out there who do spell work, we're, we're doing it so that it's being held by proxy, it's being held.
For example, someone who does a, um, I don't know, a crystal grid that is holding for us so that we don't have to every single day go back and do, um, a crystal ritual. But the point is, and the intention is that it is a daily thing. Keep, keep on going. So even if you're doing your, your witchy practices, please know that these daily habits matter.
Still don't think you can just, you know, I don't know, draw a sidle and leave it and that's that. No, it's that intention that you're imbuing and it's a daily. So for the moer, esoteric friends who are listening, know that your habits are important, and for the Moer practical, or those of you coming from a, a religious background, know that your habits keep you going and that's what you manifest from.
So it's important to just kind of check yourself, see what you're doing, because your life has to be set up in a way that supports what you say you want. Otherwise, you are working against. And if you're working against yourself, then even the, some timey motivation is not gonna help you. It'll be so fleeting and so short-lived that you'll do something once and then like three months later you'll like, oh yeah, I forgot about that goal.
Let me go back to it again. And I wanna also encourage you that if you're forgetting about some goals, I want you to revisit your list of goals. You might not want what you're saying you want, and that's when that little exercise I, I described for you earlier, comes right back into. It is okay for you to reconfigure your goals and dreams as many times as you need to.
I wouldn't suggest you do it every single day, , cuz then it's like, what are you even working for? But if you notice that you're working so hard towards a goal and you're like, wait, do I want to become an airline pilot? Let me think this through, you know? And it's safe for you to change your mind. I say this a lot, but your life is eternally edit.
if you're sick of hearing me say that, I'm sorry, but it's true and we need to be reminded of it sometimes, especially when we feel like we're spinning our wheels for something and we're not sure we even wanna continue spinning those damn wheels. Your life is eternally editable and you can change your mind whenever you feel like, and guess what?
You can change it right back again if you need to. So the last thing I wanted to say is that there are times when things just feel hard. Even if the desire is strong and you're like, Ooh, this is what I want. It's a burning passion within me. Still things happen. Life happens. Look at this whole covid drama.
We lose people. We lose jobs, we lose friends. Things happen Times are hard and shitty sometimes, and it is what? , um, feel free to check out one of the earlier episodes about what to do when life gets shitty because it has a lot of great, um, mindset shifting, uh, tips in there. So if you're currently in a place where it's dark and you're depressed or you're riddled with anxiety and you can't even make a move, or you're grieving, and if you're grieving my condolences to you, cuz we're all grieving something at some point, right?
If times are hard for you now, please check out that episode and also please talk to someone. It's important. We want you healthy and we want you here. But if you're in hard times, which happen and are completely normal and don't mean anything about who you or who you are or how wonderful you are as a human or worthy you are as a human, the things that help me in hard times are my kids and my family and what I want for them.
Sometimes when things are hard, it's like I can't even, um, like think about myself first. and, you know, fill my cup to fill others. I have to look external for that. And when I think of motivation, I think it's external that that inner, that inner inspiration that that comes from within. But I feel like motivation is external.
So in those hard times, mentally or emotionally, when I know, okay, I've gotta get up and get all these things on my to-do list done to keep my business going or keep my household running, but I have like zero energy and zero will to go do it. I think of my kids, I think of what do I want them to see? Yes, I want them to know that mommy rests when she needs to rest, and mommy gets help when she needs to get help, but I also want them to see that mommy puts one foot in front of the other and gets shit done when she knows she has to get shit done.
So I think about the role model that I am for my daughter and my son. I think about the life I want for my family at large, and that's something that kind of helps me. So I want you to think about where do you look in hard times? Do you look for, do you look to, uh, spirit or source, God, universe, whatever you believe in, do you look towards, um, how you're being for your family or your.
Do you just look for help and get support, whether it be a coach or a counselor, or a therapist, doctor, whatever. Or do you get help in other ways? Like, okay, someone's gonna clean this house, somebody's gonna cook this food today. Somebody's gonna, um, do whatever little administrative task in my business, but not me.
Like, do you hire out? That's a beautiful place to be in hard times to have that, that space and capacity to do that.
To sum up the question was, what do I do to keep myself motivated? How to keep yourself motivated when you notice that your manifestations aren't coming. My first answer was, I don't, cuz it's fleeting and motivation can be some timey, but find something. Find an inspirational story or a video. A podcast, set yourself up for success.
Do something like that to get you back into the mode of doing. Get your desire strong. Cuz when your desire is strong, it'll help keep you going. Your vision for the future has to be strong enough to keep you motivated. Then it was habits. Your habits have to be set up in a way that your life is supporting what you say you want.
So those habits gotta keep you going, keep you motivated, and then in hard times you have to decide what, what you reach for. Maybe it's your kids, maybe it's just, um, you know, faith, prayer. Maybe it's support from others, but those things can help you. I wanna just add that having a a nice support system is also great.
That what you can lean on in hard times and not to help. Keep a straight head on and if your head is on straight, then the motivation follows. Okay, so that's all I have for you today. I will see you next week. We have an interview with Dr. Darrell Johnson, which I think you're gonna love, especially if you are looking to manifest love.
And then after that we have another solo episode where I'll be answering another question. So check out the show notes. Guys, I don't know where you are watching this or listening to this, but check out the show notes because I've got a few links there. One is a link for you to submit your own question to be answered on the show and other are links for, I forget.
But there's a bunch of links there for you to check out. , and I look forward to talking to you soon. Bye.
